| 06-10-2009 I hope everybody had a good summer, i know I did! I went back to the UK (together with Marcuz and Dani) to see some of our good friends back and play the tourist in towns we normally would have a gig in... Paulie in London, Buz & Emma in Brighton, Marv & Sharon and Charlie & Jack (the Icedog) in Boston...we had a blast. Along that i picked up some reviews @ Gadgie Towers since we had a triple BBQ as well! (Brilliant INNIT!?) Heidi got married last summer and became father of a son: Ytje Ling-Sam Freyja... Good work and again: Congratz! The update for this month was planned with the COMPLETE live show from Toulouse (audio) but for some reason the damn cd wouldn't convert!! (or even play for that matter!) Mat from Toulouse is gonna sort it out and maybe next month the Toulouse cd. This month only some reviews... CHEERZ! 12/04/2009 Damn!....Is already 5 weeks ago since the last update.... time goes fast when you have shit to do!!! This will also be the last update for the summer, when the sun is out I've got better things to do than sit behind a computer and I'll bet you have too! So the last one before another update in September will be a show we did with Captain Sensible in The Melkweg on 31-10-1993, Funny show since we also started our set with New Rose (The Captain did too!) and we had Heidi come up as Major Heidi...... For all the fans of the Original Brezhnev we have here a bunch of "New" songs never ever recorded!!! Delta 4, Not My Problem, Like That and a Stranglers cover, Something Better Change.....The show with the Captain is available on CD (Live in The Milky Way) and i have added the feature that was broadcast on DUMP TV as well..... So have a good summer and we' ll meet again in September or so! CHEERZ! 04/03/2009 Ok, this time the Pits show from 1999, It's kinda special for some reasons: First of all, it's in the Pits, a place many will not forget! We also see some people who've died last couple of years... This one is for you, wherever you are.... This is a show that Jorix played guitar, Frank Motor does the lead vocals of the 4 Skins song "ACAB", Henk "Kangaroo" Smit sings on the Poison Idea classic "Give it Up" (not by his choice though!)...There is even an unpublished song here: "Under the Hammer" (as I recall the name) and final: This show has a selection of songs of ALL releases of Brezhnev (that didn't happen too much)... And we have a lot of guitartuning moments and in one of we did the "John Wayne Was A Nazi Jam" with Driver Wab on Vocals. As extras i've put 2 soundcheck songs and an impression from outside the Pits in there.....so again: ENJOY!!! 20/02/2009 I know I Promised the Pits show this time but had some trouble converting it so next time The Pits show with Jorix will be here.... For now I have the Arnhem, Goudvishal show from 1994 (together with NRA/Yawp) up, unfortunatly again we had a shitty cameraman who found it more important to film the backstage shit than us, so there is only 7 songs, but also the trip itself and some footage from Dump TV and as bonus 1 song each of Yawp and NRA.... Cheerz! 12/02/2009 Howdy, Another update today with the story of Roelof that is a bit altered, Heidi did some research on that, good work! There is a new article in the review section, The Video from Doornroosje (1992) is up and there is a Compilation page with all releases that Brezhnev appears on... (if you have one that i haven't, please tell me....) Ola stopped by the other day with a bag full of Brezhnev stuff so probably there will be enough updates to fill this year!!
